The purpose of this blog is to write about capitalism and the good that it can do. I am not taking about some sort of heady free for all libertarian version. We need capitalism, and a smart version of it. Where rules are clearly spelled out and the playing field is open to equal opportunity. This does not create equal outcomes, and it never will. Where as people are created equal in a moral sense. We are not totally equal, but different. All of us have different talents and abilities, different strengths and weaknesses.
The point is to create a system and a society where you can try to find yourself and what you are good at and not good at. To keep trying and failing until you succeed. Capitalism provides the best environment for this so far.
